Steam
For
a healing aroma facial, add 2-3 drops of Lavender
Essential Oil to 2 cups of hot water in a bowl. After
thoroughly cleansing face, expose skin to the fragrant steam by
bending over the steaming bowl and draping a towel over head and
bowl.
Allow
the steam to cleanse and soothe facial skin for 10 minutes.
This
same treatment has been used as a folk remedy for cold symptoms,
such as stuffy nose, congested sinus and lungs, and headaches.
Facial
Scrub for Fresh, Glowing Complexion
Add
filtered water or chamomile tea to 2 tablespoons of finely ground
oat meal, forming a smooth paste.
Add
3 drops of Lavender
Essential Oil, either purely Lavender, or a combination
of Lavender and Rose, Neroli, Tea Tree, Chamomile or Geranium.
Apply
to face, neck and decolleté, massaging in small circles. Leave
on for 2 minutes, then rinse with water.
Deep-conditioning

Blend

Essential Oil with a cup of warm olive oil. Apply to
your hair, massage it into the scalp, and cover with a shower
cap. Wrap a towel over the cap to keep hair warm, then shampoo
